This is a guide to aid people in understanding the weight and size puppies and how big they can expect them to grow.

The accepted standard size for the Bolognese breed is 12 inches tall.  However, Bolognese of Phoenix specializes in the smallest of the Bolognese breed and their largest female is 8 inches tall and the largest male is 9 inches tall.

The following average measurements apply only to Bolognese of Phoenix breeds.  Bolognese of Phoenix specialize in beautiful doll faces and small perfectly formed bodies.

The average full grown Bolognese is 8.5 inches tall and weighs an average of 7.75 pounds		The average full grown "Teacup" Bolognese is 6 inches tall and weighs an average of 3.25 pounds
The average full grown"Teacup" Bolonka is 6 inches tall and weighs an average of 3.25 pounds		The average full grown BeBe is 7 inches tall and weighs an average of 4 pounds

Bolognese of Phoenix takes the challenge of breeding to the smallest sizes of the Bolognese breed.  It is totally acceptable for the Bolognese to be on average of 10 to 15 pounds.  However, it is the preference of Bolognese of Phoenix to produce a miniature perfect sized dog with an outgoing personality, dedicated and loving to its owner, with the most beautiful delicate facial features possible.  One can easily see this in the photographs on this website where the expressive, loving eyes are so evident.
