Hello Mary Alice,

Here's a new shot of me and Mabel aka Angelina! She's about 10 months old now - so smart. I can't believe how intelligent she is. She knows how to communicate! She can say no to all my questions. When I ask her if she's hungry, thirsty, wants to go nite nite, wants to get up, get down, go for a walk - the whole shebang - she answers with a "yes!" by jumping up and being happy. When she says "no!" she growls but wags her tail and won't come towards me. It's really amazing!

Hi everybody, this is Avian (whose name we now pronounce "AH vee ahn"), enjoying Mardi Gras 2010 with me in Ocean Springs, Mississippi (on the Gulf Coast, halfway between New Orleans and Mobile, Alabama).

I fell in love with him the first time I saw his "snuggle puppy" video on Mary Alice's website. Avian celebrated his first birthday in Phoenix with the stuffed dog-toy birthday cake I sent him (that plays "happy birthday to you" when you squeeze it), and I welcomed him home on February 13, 2010. I know that his name is really an acronym for "Angelic valentine is Aileen's now!"

Everyone who meets Avian falls in love with him, but his two kitty sisters (Kali and Jasmine) are not quite sure what's up with us adopting a little puppy brother for them -- LOL! He's such a cutey, and even the groomer (who sees LOTS of dogs), remarked how darling it is the way he tilts his head first one way, then the other.

Avian totally accepts me being in a wheelchair, and loves going on walks with his daddy. Avian keeps me company while I'm working on my computer and is on dogster.com himself.

We feel so blessed to have Avian with us, and don't know how we ever lived without those doggy kisses! :o)

Avi is a year old now and quite a smart, independent person. He is becoming very attached to us and more loving each day. He loves his toys, loves to fight with Bill, and loooves his "moo cow" bones I get him at the pet specialty store.

Avi is enjoying camping and motorcycle riding. He rides in a new backpack "outward hound" between Bill and I. He will love it this summer. I will send you a pic with his goggles on. We are going to take a long camping trip to Yellowstone.

We love Avalon to death and are so glad we have him. Hope you are doing well with all the work you have to do each day.

January 17, 2010 - Mabel is so smart, very sassy, and still 2 pounds! She's a complete nut and I adore her.

Here are a few pictures of my precious little puppy. She is so smart, 10 weeks old and she is using her doggie door to do her thing. She's been sleeping with us a week after we bought her home and she's been sleeping the whole night. When she needs to go in the morning she wakes us up by giving us oh so many kisses. I am now trying to train her to wake Dennis up only.

I wanted to send you this lovely picture of our little Sami and to let you know how precious she is. She is so smart at this time of her life I have her doing a few things. She is 9 months and she sits, shakes hands, roll-over, and the latest of her talents is that I can tell her to stay and she will not move until I call her name. In our neighborhood I walk her every morning around 5:30am around the block which is 1/3 of a mile, well 3 houses before we get to our home I tell her to sit and stay. I walk the rest of the way and she waits till I call her. I hope you enjoy her picture, I am sending it to everyone I know. Oh, she even lets me brush and comb her. "The secret is that she will do anything for a treat" pretty smart eh! We hope to stop by and see you soon with Sami.

Betty has brought so much joy to our lives, we are thrilled to have her in our family. She is the sweetest puppy and loves to play with us and her new toys. Her personality shines even more everyday and she is very comfortable in her new home. We are so grateful for finding this special pup, having no idea that we would own such a rare wonderful breed. She is very healthy, happy, and well-behaved with good manners already at barely 8 weeks old! Everyday is more exciting with this bundle of joy and we look forward to watching her grow and develop into a best friend and perfect companion.

Thank you to Mary Alice for giving us the opportunity to share that warm fuzzy feeling you get by experiencing a pup like Betty. I never knew it was possible for such a small ball of fur to get cuter by the minute...especially when she is sprawled out on her back with her adorable belly up, simply precious!

Just a short note to tell you how pleased we are with Ziti, our little bolognese puppy. Having been around your dogs and puppies a few times, I knew they were beautiful and so social and loving. Now after having Ziti for three weeks, we are thrilled with her personality as well as her looks of course

She is simply beautiful and so entertaining. We see her grow daily as she explores the house and gets to know us all better. She is so smart, she already knows her name as well as all three of us by name too. She learned to sit and stay in a brief training session. She runs like the wind and loves to play with all her toys as well as play chase with us around the house. Then she wants up in our laps to sleep right on top of us. She loves to give kisses and her house breaking is going along great as we use the puppy park we got from you to teach her to go inside.

She is so loving to all our family members, and gets so excited when she sees any one of us. She is aware of everything that goes on in the house. So alert to new sights and sounds in the house. As we talk to her she tilts her head and looks us right in the eye as we teach her new things or just talk to her.

We formerly had two Bichon Friese which were our first bichons and we loved members of our family for over 15 years each. She does some things that remind us of our beloved dogs so much but her personality and ways are so different at the same time. She has helped us remember the joy of our other dogs while filling the void in our hearts from their absence with her intelligence, love and spunky ways. She acts like a big dog in a small dogs body. We are so grateful to you for the great dogs you have brought to us. So thanks

Hi Mary Alice,

Just wanted to tell you once again how much I love this little girl. Hannah is such a sweet puppy. She gives kisses to everybody even other dogs. Her tail nevers stops wagging, she's just a very happy little girl. She has lots of other doggie friends in the neighborhood and a few young kids that absolutely love her, too.

She's lost quite a few teeth, another one tonight. She sleeps with me in my bed as she has from the first night I got her. If I'm not up and out of bed after the second alarm goes off, she pulls my hair :)

She's a riot! She gives me a million kisses to wake me up, then stretches out (like superman flying) for me to massage her back.

I'm still giving her hamburger along with the Innova and she loves it. She gets treats of baby carrots, and we "share" an apple or pear on the sofa at night. She likes cottage cheese once in a while and even likes eggs. I ask her if she wants water before bed and she scoots to the edge and waits for me to pour a capful or two.. She knows many of her toys by their name and when we play ball she retrieves, then drops it when I tell her to. She is paper trained and also "goes" outside. When I say "awwhhhhh Hannah" she rolls over on her back for me to scratch her belly.

My daughter just met Hannah for the first time last week and immediately fell in love with her. She was very impressed with how good natured, well behaved and intelligent she is. I can't thank you enough for this little blessing in my life..

May 25, 2009 - About two years ago, I began searching for a dog that my new husband wouldn't be allergic to. One day, I stumbled onto http://www.bologneseofphoenix.com/. Of course, I fell in love with what I saw. I called Mary Alice, and she was terrific to allow us to visit a number of times over the next six months so that we could be sure that my husband's allergies would not be triggered by the dog. We have had Cameron for about 1 1/2 year. My husband has never had an allergic reaction from him.

The best part is that Cameron is a terrific boy. We love him so much, and would be lost without him. He is smart, fun, funny, loving, cuddly, loyal and the best companion we have had. (His personality is a lot like my lab that I had to give up when I got married - and better yet, he is only 10 pounds.) Cameron loves everyone, and everyone loves him. He is so delightful and cute that people are drawn to him. I tell everyone who asks about Mary Alice and her "babies".

Besides recommending the Bolognese breed, I highly recommend Bolognese of Phoenix's kennel. Mary Alice is great with her dogs, and takes such good care of them. Additionally, they are all loved, and socialized with other dogs well before she lets them go to a new home. The other thing that impresses me about Mary Alice is that she stands behind the dogs 110%. Once we got worried about a potential heart problem, Mary Alice took Cameron and I to the vet (she paid for it) and we found he was fine. It was such a relief to find out he is perfectly healthy, and that the person at the microchip clinic was wrong. Mary Alice, also, continues to provide support by coaching me on grooming and nutrition tips. She, too, is good to let me come by periodically to see the new puppies.

Armani is growing so fast. I can't believe how much bigger he is now from when I brought him home. I put him on the scale and it says he weighs 3lbs. I can't believe it, he eats like a pig and is nice and plump. He's getting a personality now and has us constantly laughing at his antics. He's just so cute.

He loves to cuddle with me when I go to bed, but once we've settled down he goes back in his playpen to sleep. In the morning after I let the big dogs out and things quite down again, Armani and I go back to bed and cuddle up with each other until I get up. I swear I think Armani would lie in bed cuddled up in my arms all day if I stayed in bed.

He's so adorable when he walks he looks like a black fluff ball. He's great off lead walking next to me or right behind me and also does well on the leash. He starts puppy class on Aug 9th. The instructor will burst out laughing because for the past 7 1/2yrs I've always had the biggest puppy and dogs in the class. Now I'll probably have the smallest.
